Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific is a producer of Nestlé breakfast cereals and cereal bars, and has held a leading position in the Central European market for years. Since 1994, the company has been part of the food industry giants Nestlé SA and General Mills Inc. Additionally, CPP Toruń-Pacific is one of the largest food exporters in Poland: the production takes place in factories located in Toruń and Lubicz, and products are shipped to over 50 countries worldwide from the distribution warehouse in Grębocin.

CPP Toruń-Pacific company has decided to cooperate with OPTIDATA and implement the fixed asset management system – OPTIest®. Additionally, they entrusted us with the task of labeling their assets with durable labels.

The labeling will cover both the production and office areas. Proper identification of fixed assets and equipment is made possible through the use of barcodes, which are printed on labels using specialized thermal transfer printers. The company's assets located in the offices will be labeled with polyethylene tags that crumble when an attempt is made to remove them. This prevents a label from being transferred intact to another asset, thereby ensuring clear and accurate identification.

These tags are durable, difficult to remove, and resistant to high temperatures and cleaning agents. It is also important to pay attention to the material that will be used for marking the most advanced equipment and production lines at the CPP Toruń-Pacific factories. These will be specialized, tamper-proof, chemically resistant, waterproof, and high-temperature-resistant metallized labels, which, after prior testing, have been approved by the departments responsible for quality control.

CPP Toruń-Pacific has chosen a modern solution – the OPTIest® system – to improve asset recording and management. In the next step, the software will be integrated with the SAP accounting and financial system.

Benefits of Cooperation:

  • Full control over the company's assets (fixed assets, equipment).
  • Standardization of asset labeling and identification methods.
  • Permanently marked assets using destructible and metallized barcode labels.
  • Efficient data exchange between the OPTIest® system and SAP software.
  • Elimination of errors related to the identification of fixed assets and inventory reconciliation.
  • Security and assurance that the system complies with applicable legal regulations, such as GDPR.
